If you want to help please reach out to us.  The Militia operations mission is to help every day people become prepared, vigilant and ready to coordinate activities that support their local community in times of civil unrest. This is about neighbors looking after neighbors.

Militia-Ops App can be downloaded on your devices, available in the app stores and then there is this web site that has similar features but lacking location services and certain push notifications.



Vetted membership is required  for access to the majority of the features of the app.

*Manage collaboration efforts, information resources and expedient communications.

*Create private groups and your own group management.

*Receive Push Notifications based on Events, Bookings, Chat updates, Locations, RSS feeds and more, or less, your choice.

*Events created by the community can be used to alert the public as necessary in a time of civil unrest.

*Push notifications for events could be thought of as an alternative to an emergency alert or a method to prevent the emergency from occurring. 

*Events are to be categorized, monitored and updated with input from the community.

*Event Hot spots will be Geo-Fenced.

*Geo-Fence-Notifications:  Notifications can be sent to users based on their geo location, if the user prescribes to the service and has enabled location services on their device.

*Beacons: Private group managed beacons allow group members to access resources upon integration with a beacon. (Coming soon, we hope)

**PRIVATE FORUMS are available on a separate web page where trusted members can be given strictly controlled access to which can be used for senior management discussions.

Information resources:

 -Each person can play an important role in the event of civil unrest or violence. Knowing who to talk to, what to share, how to stay out of the way and how to help should not be figured out after such an event begins. *Standard Operating Procedures.  Should mimic law enforcement procedures and maintain compliance with local laws. ( p.s. we could use some help here!)

Expedient communications:

Identify ways to communicate with local law enforcement agencies and create a communication network that exceeds the capacity of a threat to the public safety.  If communicating with local agencies is not possible at least know what current events they might be facing and how the public can support their efforts.

Support local law enforcement:

Those organizations which have fulfilled the duty of the second amendment by maintaining a state military should be emulated and supported. Cooperation with the men and women who serve to protect their local communities is crucial.

Compliance with local laws is essential:

As a member and a human, we should believe that the ability to defend and support a local community is a duty and an honor.



Registered App users can access the About Us page, Vigilance Calendar, News Blog, Sign Up Page and the App Guide. This is not the same thing as a vetted member.

Vetted membership is required  for access to the majority of the features of the app. This is so we know that you read the rules and agree to refrain from calling for or organizing any violent or other illegal activity. Complete the vetted member application found in the link below and in the main menu. 

Once vetted you can start private chats in the community chat, apply to join a group or create your own group, create events and more.

Private group access:

For now, we are vetting group managers and group members manually. This is the process.

You submit a form to create or join a group.  If needed a group will be created along with the pages you see in the other groups, of course these pages will be named after your group. 

If you are applying to join a group your group manager will review your application and once approved they will notify us to activate your membership.

*  * In order to join any group you must have the group's secret word. 

* * When you create a new group you are assigned the role as group manager.

As a group manager you will provide a secret word that you will share with your group members. Your group members will need the secret word to complete their application for group membership(s).

More about groups and your role as a group manager:

Private groups have access to a private discussion forum and private directories. This allows groups to share information about where to find resources, meetings and plans for group activities.  

For now, we are creating groups manually. This means when you fill out an application one of our team members will add your group into the database and set up the same set of features you see in the Texas Group Home Page. 

Eventually the above process will be automated.

Your group's vetted members: 

When a member submits an application you will receive an email with their information. If you approve of the application you must notify us and the applicant so we can grant the user access to your group.

If you need to remove a member their tag can be removed and they will no longer be able to access your group's private information and resources.

If you believe you have an unwanted pair of eyes on your group data, apply for a new group and start again. Leave the old data as decoy...

This platform can be used to facilitate communications and methods of organization but The "REAL DATA" should be kept private and within your immediate circle of contacts. Each circle is to vouch for the next...

Secret words can be changed and is recommended if you think one of your members shared your secret word with someone outside of your group.

Please note, it is not a simple process to change a secret word so it is in your best interest to vet your members thoroughly and make sure they will abide by your group's rules before giving them the secret word.

As a group manager you are responsible for determining who you want to be involved in your group. If you do not refrain from calls for violence your group will be removed. If you allow your members to call for violence your group will be removed.

We do not tolerate pornographic material of any kind, discussions about the use of illegal weapons, images or videos depicting bloodletting, mutilation, assault, or any violent act, which is intended to glorify violent activity. Imagery of violent activities can only be shared for discussing historical events.


In order to access the group discussions, events and resources through this app you will need to apply. Only after your identity and motivations have been verified as to not be violent, hateful or encouraging of either, will you be given access to view and participate in private groups. We reserve the right to decide if we do not have the capacity and time to contend with difficult people and we reserve the right to decide what constitutes a difficulty.

This means that if your motivations and personality are contentious toward ours, we will deny or revoke your participation in the group. If you don't like that idea, then go build your own platform. If you think that is unfair then you won't like any of us any ways and there is no need for entertaining that drama.

 *We reserve the right to decide if we do not have the capacity and time to contend with difficult people and we reserve the right to decide what constitutes a difficult person. This will be a tight knit community with specific reasons for participation.  We intend to interact closely to encourage civil, lawful, and peaceful ideals, that embraces all peoples regardless of culture, groups or political beliefs, and to encourage the development of community support groups.

Legal requirements are the user's responsibility:

We do not, nor do we intend to, advise any one on the formation of militias or weapon laws. This is a communication platform where users are encouraged to learn how to work with their neighbors and local law enforcement agencies for maintaining civil order. Any use of the app that deviates from this purpose can be removed. 

All US states have laws regarding the formation of, and acting as a reserve, or unorganized militia. This app is not about creating militias, it is about creating and practicing the skills sets that allow for the continuation of a civil society during and after civil unrest.

*Many states have state funded militaries. The people serving in these state militias are your family members, neighbors and friends.  The skills they spend years learning are essential to the security of a free state and they should be understood and held by the everyday citizen. The reason for that is self-evident.

If there are laws in your local that are not being enforced or are illegally enforced or are unconstitutional, the appropriate actions should be able to be diluted to electing officials that will right the wrong. Discussions on constitutional rights and ways to create beneficial and peaceful change in your community is encouraged.

The Second Amendment of the United States Constitution reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
